Director of Training

David's lifelong dedication to sports and fitness is truly remarkable. His journey began during childhood when he became a member of the Bexley Swimming club, where he developed a particular fondness for the land training component. At the age of 10, he was introduced to Olympic weightlifting by his father, who was a military personal trainer. This experience ignited his passion for weight training, a passion he has maintained ever since.

During his university years, David competed in powerlifting, showcasing his commitment to strength and fitness. He is a member of The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity and holds a Master of Research in Bio Physics.

​

In the realm of martial arts, David's journey commenced at the age of 15, and he has attained various Dan grades across multiple disciplines. Currently, he holds an impressive 8th-degree black belt in Budo Tai Jutsu and a 2nd-degree black belt in Ryoi Shinto Ryu Jujutsu, teaching five classes each week.

David's expertise extends into health and fitness, as he is a certified personal trainer and strength and Conditioning coach. His experience spans a wide range of clients, each with unique needs and abilities. Regardless of your starting point or objectives, David is enthusiastic about meeting you and helping you achieve your fitness goals. He is available to lead both group classes and private sessions.

Furthermore, David is a qualified trainer in the field of children's fitness and nutrition, ensuring that children receive the best possible guidance for their well-being. He is also a Hatton Elite Boxing Coach, providing training opportunities for both adults and children. Additionally, David serves as a level 2 technical official for British Weightlifting, highlighting his commitment to excellence in the field of fitness and sports.
